Zayn Malik is an English singer & songwriter. He was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England on 12th January 1993 (now 25 years old). His mother & father are Tricia Brannan Malik & Yaser Malik respectively both are Muslims as his mother converted to Islam after the marriage.
He came into limelight due to his impressive performances on the television reality show 'The X Factor'. Although he was eliminated from the show but his talent struck a chord with both the judges and the audiences alike and since then there has been no looking for him.
He joined the band named One Direction. He has had the successful career with the band but he left the band on March 25, 2015, to pursue a solo music career. His debut solo album, "Mind of Mine", was released on March 25, 2016. The album was ridiculously successful.

My favourite Bollywood song is a song from a film called "Dil Se" and its like a scene on a train, the song is callled "Chhaiya Chhaiya".
Is your music influenced by Bollywood?
I'd say that my music is definitely influenced by a lot of Bollywood-esque styles.I try to incorporate that in there with, obviously the western style of music that I do too.
What does the New Year hold for you?
With every new year bring new goals, new aspirations.. So I guess, I'm just liking the fact that its a fresh start in the new year, and plenty of things to come.
What's your New Album like?
This year I'm excited about releasing my new album. I've worked very hard on it, for a year and a half.. just progression of the last album, stepping up a little bit. So hopefully the fan see that too. And yeah, just getting it out to people and see what they thing about it.

Although veteran Indian Singer Kailash Kher appreciated the work of Zayn to sung on his 2006 romantic track 'Teri Deewani'. But Said, he will loves to collaborate with young English singer but on one condition:
Kailash Kher said that Zayn, former member of British band One Direction, will have to enroll in his upcoming digital academy, get his notes correct and then they may jam in future, reports news agency IANS.
To know the correct notes and nuances, he can join (the academy) and enroll himself. It will help him to improve his skills. Then we can jam together in future," Kailash told IANS.
