Pranathy Sharma is an Indian model who currently lives in United States Of America. She came to fame when she won the title of Miss India USA (2014). She was the first youngest winner of the title at the age of 19. She was also the first Telugu woman to win from the past 20 years. Although she is from India currently she is in the USA for her studies and living in Georgia, USA.

Pranathy Sharma was born in Hanamkonda, Warangal, Telangana, India in 11thMarch 1995. She spent her childhood in Vijayawada but she moved to Georgia, USA. Her mother's name is Maitreyi Sharma and her father's name is Ram Gangaraju who is from Vijayawada. She did her schooling from Northview High School in Georgia. Then she majored in film production and acting from The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute which is in Los Angeles.

During an interview, the model expressed her feeling for working in Bollywood & Tollywood movies. Her favorite actors are Prabhas & Hrithik Roshan. She has not worked in any films but she was seen in few awards ceremony of South Indian films. She also won the title of the best smile in Miss India USA pageant. After winning the pageant she said, "I would like to thank my mom and dad for believing in me and knowing that I could make it."
